12oz bottle. Hazy orange/amber. Smells very lightly of raspberry. Very delicate sweet raspberry and malt flavors. Thin and watery as well. Sourish in the finish and 7% is hidden very well. Happy new beer!

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured an orange-caramel color with a huge fluffy pink-white head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was tart and dry with notes of vinegar, must and muddled berries. The flavor was tart raspberry, must, chalk, bread and honey with a semi sweet artificial sugar undertone. Medium length finish of tart berries, chalk and honey. Medium body. Decent.

750ml split with Anndiesel, from her East Coast beer run. This is a pretty cool beer, certainly raspberry forward, but firmly planted in Saison. Unfiltered raspberry red-orange. Sweet, a little too sweet really. Nice Belgian-esque carbonation. A well made beer, just lacks a little finesse and subtlety. Really comes off bigger than 7%. The yeast really shines, offering all sorts of funky sweet nuances. Pretty solid offering, interesting and unique, but a little sweet and boozy too.

Courtesy of markwise. Oh yeah, a beer called Space Monkey has gotta be good, right? Cool name and pretty cool label to boot. The 12oz bottle pours clear dark gold with thin white head. The aroma is sweet slick malts, raspberry wine cooler notes and really very little else. The taste is pretty tart to start with raspberry and cranberry fruitiness then picking up sugar sweet malts and then becoming a bit on the grainy side to midway. It remains tart and gets dry into the finish.

Bad Space Monkey, bad, now go take a 2 minute time out in the corner.

Bottle at Akkurat. Pours redbrown with a small head. Aroma of rosé wine with some malt in the background. Rather rosé wine like taste with raspberry candy and raspberry seeds.
