From a variety pack: pours copper with a small head. Aroma is dark fruit and plebty of spice... mostly spice. Taste is hella spicy and holidayesque. Hugely not a fan.

Winter spices fall flat on the tongue, sticky coating on the tongue and metallic finish. Not the best of the winter brews.
Taste like a spiced candle.

Had this on tap at the 1 for the road. Looks a little darker than a pale lager, there is just a little tint of brown and orange in there. No head. Smell is gently spicy. Yes, some rude spices in there become more apparent as the session continues. Typical holidy spiced beer. Very little co2 but what is ther is somewhat creamy.

Bottle. Pours clear amber. White head. Nose and taste of bready malt, clove, cinnamon and spice. Some light sourness in finish. Lightish body.

Deep amber caramel with a white head. Malty, sweet, light spice in the aroma. Flavor has a much stronger spice than the aroma let on. Quite malty, light caramel, some toasted malts, with light alcohol. Medium bodied and works well with the flavor. Really a nice winter beer.

Sampled on draft at D’s in Monroeville this beer poured a dark caramel-amber color with a medium sized foamy beige head that lingered and produced good lacing. The aroma was light caramel, orange, vanilla and nutmeg. The flavor was tangy, bitter and fruity with notes of caramel, orange, bread and nutmeg. The finish was long and tangy with notes of orange and caramel lingering. Medium body. Ok.
