Pours black with brown head. Aromas of roasted malts and espresso. Big coffee flavor with roasted malts and some milk chocolate. Medium to full body with moderate carbonation. Much better than I was expecting. NIce.

Bottle @ Hotelroom, Denver. pours black with a huge fluffy light brown head. Aroma of hard roasted coffee, caramel, black chocolate. Taste is coffee, chocolate, roasted malt, caramel. Thin to medium body, lively carbonation, bitter coffee finish. Not bad, but rather one dimensional and boring stout. 130411

Bottle thanks to a generous trader. Pours black. Tan head. Wonderful aroma of freshly ground espresso beans, roast chocolate malt and vanilla beans. Taste of freshly brewed coffee, roasted chocolate malt and vanilla. Thin mouth feel. Otherwise, excellent.

22oz bottle. Opaque brown-black with a rusty brown head. Sweet sugary aroma, some chocolate coffee. Mellow, clean, watery mouthfeel akin to other Twisted Pine beers. Really nails the style, but I’m not such a Coffee beer fan. Lot’s of rich flavor, but stays clean and perfectly executed.

Bomber. Pours a very dark brown with a medium creamy light tan head that leaves good sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a roasted malt with coffee and chocolate. Thin mouthfeel with a dry malt and roast. Easy to drink, a good sweet stout from Twisted Pine.

Courtesy of kiefdog. Pours dark mahogany with tan head. It has a nice big dark roasted coffee aroma that is very inviting to go along with some dark roasted to burnt malts around the edges followed by vanilla and toffee. The taste is very nice too with a mix of dark roasted coffee, some vanilla like notes, toffee and burnt malts. Wow, yummy brew with plenty of flavor and depth.

Bomber from ericandersnavy. Thanks man. Pours very black, though the stream from the bottle had ruby aspects. 3-finger foamy tan head. Aroma is very strong coffee, with a hint of chocolate. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is very smooth coffee, with a hint of smoke, and I’d say definite dark chocolate. Finishes coffee bitter. So where’s the Big Shot Latte? Good stuff!

Bottle. Pours black with a thin brown head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma is full of espresso notes with an underlying dark chocolate that gives a bit of a mocha note. Flavor is a nice combination of chocolate and espresso but really not picking up much else.

Bottle thanks to Tran at Perry’s. Pours with a large tan head over a near black body. Strong coffee aroma, a but papery, some vanilla, earthy. Taste is earthy, medium bitterness, weak American style coffee. Kind of middle of the road. Light bubbles, thin.

Bottle pours out a dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Aroma is of day old coffee, rich roast malts, and some sweetness. Taste is much of the aroma more of the coffee (odd Espresso Stout the name of this brew) So coffee who would have guessed. The rich sweet malts made this one for me.
