Pours a clear darker gold color with a medium fluffy white head that evaporates steadily. Rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of noble hops, sweet malt and a bit of spice. Medium, clean body with a moderately hoppy character and notes of fruit, spice and malt. The finish is grassy hops with a fruity aftertaste. Good beer all around.

From a 750ml bottle from Pickβs Liquors poured into a Lager glass. Pours a clear dark gold with lots of carbonation bubbles. A thick frothy white head is taking forever to go down leaving lots of lacing. Aroma is slightly sweet, like candied fruit. It also has a slight floral hoppy smell and some bready malt. Taste comes off very sweet and lightly bitter. Medium bodied with a thick sticky texture. Lively carbonation dances on the tongue and leaves a long sweet finish. Overall this beer is pretty darn good. A little too sweet for my liking but at $8.99 a 750 the price is right to buy this one again. I just wish it was still available in my area.

Capped 750 from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours coppery gold with a 3 finger foamy off-white head. Aroma is a bit bready with some substantial noble-type hop. Med plus body. Flavor is strongly herbal hop with a bready/malty pale malt taste. This is really quite unexpected. The grassy hop seems herbal or perhaps like freshly crushed grass. It is strong. This is a most excellent essay.

On tap at Bottleworks (called No. 20, Vol. 1 Imperial Pilsner). The snifter held an orangish beer with little head and sweet, sticky aromas of honey and light fruit. Flavor was decidedly unbalanced... a medicinal/astringent ABV stuck out awkwardly and blasted away the malty sweetness and fruity undertones. Nothing much to say other than that this was a mess of high ABV with a lot of malt.
