Bottle. Clear gold in color with a medium head. Aroma is just like a traditional American lager. Taste is well balanced, just not very good. TNT.

12oz bottle. Filtered caramel orange-tan body. Thin, fading head. A little sweet for the style, kind of has that corny sweet house flavor going on, no crisp balance. Drinkable, but not really nailing the style at all. Bland.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, best before 3/3/2019. Pours crystal clear deep golden amber color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light honey/pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. A bit of fruity aromas, but not overwhelming. Nice and pleasant aromas with bready malt and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light honey/pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light honey/pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness of bready malt and light earthy hop flavors; with a solid malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying flavors after the finish. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with no fruity/yeasty notes present. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, fairly crisp, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 5.5%. Overall this is a delicious Dortmunder. All around nice robustness of bready malt and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink with the mildly bitter/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Very clean and nicely rich Pils/Munich malt showcase, with light noble hop presence/balance. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example.

This brew pours a clear dark golden color with a medium white head that evaporates quickly. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of sweet malt and fruit. Light body with flavors of grainy malt, fruit and mild hops. The finish is mildly bitter with a short grassy hops aftertaste. Average overall.
