Crystal clear golden coloured body with a honey glow, a ridiculously thick five centimetre tall pure white head and literally millions of small bubbles rising from the bottom. Aroma of alcohol, yeast, brett (crazy), must, white grapes, sugar and some light earthy notes - interestingly enough, not much hops at all. Light-bodied; Sharp yeast and earthy flavour with some light sugars from fruit, a bit of musty and cardboard flavours and that hint of brettynomics trying to come through. Aftertaste shows some complexity with a bit of yeast and earthy malt, a little sweetness and a very herbal and grassy finish. Overall, a light but interesting beer with some good flavours and quite the complexity for the style. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Half Time in Poughkeepsie, New York on 26-December-2012 for US$5.99 sampled at home in Washington on 27-July-2013.

Bomber from Half Time. Pours light amber/gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is very lightly roasted malt with some spice. Med + body til the carb froths away. Flavor is bready, maybe nutty, with some grassy/earthy/herbal/spicy. Sort of renders the mouth earthy. Not like mushroom tho. Pretty interesting flavor. Finishes dry and grassy/earthy/herbal/spicy. :)

Bottle shared by Jay at Paul’s apartment. Pours gold amber with a white head. Nose/taste of apple skin, pine, light toast and malt. Finishes dry apple pit. Some vegetal notes. Lighter side of medium body.
