Fresh organic ginger juiced by hand kisses the lithe malty body, copulating with the hop in this pale ale ancestor.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark apricot color with a medium sized foamy orange-cream head that left no lacing. The aroma was tart, dryish and had a moderate candied ginger element. The flavor was tart and dry with notes of ginger, pepper and bread. The finish was short and body was medium. Disappointing.

355ml bottle. Pours amber with gentle bubbles and a small head which fades away to a thin layer of lace. The nose is of honey, malt and possibly sultanas. The taste has more honey and malt and the ginger kick comes in right at the end. The palate is light to medium bodied in structure and a nice gently falling away finish. Overall, a decent beer which is more enjoyable than the sum of its parts suggests.

Color is indeed copper as many other raters said as well. Smell is full of herbs, don’t konw the English words for them. Way to much herbs in the taste as well, very low on carbs, don’t like it.

First of all, the package redesign for Left Hand kicks ass. I guarantee it will sell much better in the southeast now that the labels look like crazy ass shroom hallucinations instead of the showroom of a 1980s Lake Tahoe interior designer. As for the beer behind the label, it appears Juju Ginger gets a bad rap. I mean, read the description up top. I can see this beer being a perfectly acceptable diversion for those of us who find most summer fare duller than Tom Clancy novels. Juju goes the English route with the pale ale, nutty and mildly hopped, yet the ginger rises above the gentle grain flavors and provides a unique, floral finish to the brew. Spiced without being overly spicy, Juju could still use a little more oomph with the ginger. To hell with it, though. I kinda like this beer.

On tap at Petrol Station. Pours a clear orange with a small frothy off white head that diminishes rather quickly. The aroma is ginger and malt and pils. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet hop and citrus with ginger overpowering the flavor. Easy to drink but not much going on with this one.

Draft. A dark golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has ginger, spices, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of ginger and malt as well as a bit of other spices, leading to a dry ginger finish. The mouthfeel is very sparkling
