Bottle during RBWG Grand Tasting. Pours black with large frothy tan head that lasts, lots of carb. Fruity malt aroma and yeast. Medium mouth with dark fruits, the finish is disappointing with a strong metal.

Bottle at The Funky 7, Brooklyn. Brown pour with a foamy, tan head. Roasty malt aroma with some dark fruits and caramel. Light to medium sweet flavor, roasty and almost smoky malts, light spice, yeast, some char. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Roasty finish, some burnt sugar, light yeast, prunes and other dark fruits, dark malts, light spiciness. A very interesting beer for sure. Not bad, either, but nothing special.
