Honey Peach Wine
Peaches and citrus notes tantalize the tongue and balance the honey to create a semi-sweet mead. This satisfying treat promises a succulent finish that you will VERY much fall in love with.

very faint yellow. Smells like sweet wort. Peach is there. More of peach juice. Sweet peach juicy. Tastes a lot like home brew wort with a citrus forward hop. Odd taste but of course it’s tasty

Its been a while since I have rated a Moonlight Mead, although I’ve had a lot of them in the last 6 months. Pours with a clear yellow hued body, still with moderate legs. Aromas are floral, grassy, citrus, orange blossom and hay. Some honeycomb. This bottle is at least a year old and the peach character is either faded or was light in the aroma to begin with. Currently it is nearly undetectable (power of suggestion would lead to a stone fruit ester). Flavors show a bit more peach roundness. Medium acidity balances a relatively sweet flavor profile. There are some lightly spicy notes, some cardamom. Some juiciness, fruity. Lots of base honey character. Good viscosity, a touch of residual CO2 keeps things lively (think most new world Sauvignon Blanc as far as very low but [in wine] noticeable carb). Overall, pretty good stuff (like most Moonlight meads). Nothing game changing, but definitely well made.

375 ml bottle purchased from the meadery. Clear gold color. Aroma is honey first and foremost with traces of peaches and almost a melon hint.
The peach is a very subtle undertone after the sweet honey base. The body of this mead seems to be a bit lighter than a few of the other Moonlights I sampled recently. Still good, but not as much peach as I was expecting.

Bottle thanks to Dallas. Pours a clear yellow color with a slick set of legs. A big nose of honey and clear fruit/peaches. The flavor is perfumy sweet fruit, some rich sweet honey, touches of flowers. Very flavorful and raw/earthy. Good. Impressive.
