growler-pours black with a big light brown head that dissipates. Aroma is roasty dark malt-cocoa. Taste is roasty dark malt-cocoa, 2nd earthy hops. Lactose and dusty.

A deep dark stout with reddish hues, and a thick brown head. In aroma, smooth chocolate with light mineral notes. In mouth, a smooth powdery chocolate with light herbal hops, quite nice and smooth. On tap at brewery, Dec. 3 2011.
