On tap at Brouwer's Cafe, pours orange with a beige head. Aroma of pear, apple, citrus hops, bourbon and oak. The flavours are more muted though - of pears, apples, citrus and mild hops. The barrels detract from the exquisite flavours of the original Mojo Risin. Doesn't live up to all it could I think.

Tap at the Wilderness Pub. [90 days in a first use Woodford Reserve barrel] Pours heavy dark gold with a creamy beige head. Light oak aroma, I think. Lots of hop. It’s thick and the bourbon is very strong. Also quite hoppy and pretty bitter. Gets somewhat woody with time. I could drink a lot of this.Note: Compared the nitro Mojo Risin. Hard to believe it’s the same ale.
