22 oz bottle purchased at Table and Vine in West Springfield, MA. Poured into a shaker. Nearly black/ deep brown, brown hues on the edges. Smells of chocolate, Pine resin, molasses, and a light licorice note. Rich flavor with roasted malts and medium bitter with the faint hint of hops in the profile. Good amount of pine hops as it warms. Nicely thick palate causes a lingering of the flavors on the tongue. Dry hop finish. Good flavors, if you like this style, it’s well worth a try. If you can find a bottle.
