*Bottle in Hamburg. Very smooth and sweetish in the beginning. Lots of yeast there, banana with clove, very round and fruity with deep yeasty smooth Weizen-sweetness. Very nice and deep.

Aus der Flasche im 2017-08 getrunken. Diese gehopfte Weizenbock kommt irgendwie mit ein unschönen swimming pool noten (eine Art leichten Chlor/Putzmittel) rüber. Nein ich mag das nicht.

(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, golden colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet malty and moderately wheaty aroma with notes of overripe citrus fruits, also strong phenolic accents of cloves and band aid. Mildly sweet and slightly sour flavour, medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Juicy malty, moderately wheaty taste with present fruity and slightly grassy hops; lasting moderately sweet and mildly hop bitter finish with a tinge of booze shining through. 30.VII.17

Draught @ sopp 2017. Poured deep golden color with a thick white head. Aroma has flowery notes, wheat, spicy notes, some citrus. Flavor has floral notes, tangerine, alcohol warmth, sweetness. Nice body, long finish. Overall pretty tasty.

Tap at the brewpub. Dark golden in the glass, intense hoppy aroma. Starts fine hoppy-fruity like lemon, dry-bitter background, hints of grapefruit. Finish less fruity, still hoppy-spicy-flowery. Okay.

[ As Lemke Hopfenweisse ].Light unclear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, wheat, light moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, mango, moderate yeasty, banana, clove, weizen yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, sweet yeast, fruity yeast, mango, banana. Body is medium, texture is creamy - watery, carbonation is soft. Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom L’s place. Thanks Max & Stas. Hazy golden. Yeast, wheat, fruitiness, spiciness, a bit of alcohol, a bit herbal. Sweetish, bitter finish. Medium-bodied.
