Bottle. Ripe bananas, lots of soapy hops. Medium body with a typical Weizenbock texture, but strongly bitter throughout, with an okay but rather lacking body. Not harmonic. Works in a way, but not a beauty either.

Tap @ Brauhaus Lemke , Hakescher Markt & Tiergarten. Pours cloudy yellow with a white head and lacings. Good hops, bread, banana, citrus. Awesome wheatbeer. Fresh hops. Nice bitter finish. Proper!

Apr ’15. On tap at the brewpub, am Schloss location. 35 IBU, 16,5°, 7,0%. This one poured completely hazy yellow body with medium to big head. Lightly sour herbal hop aroma with lots of wheat notes. Flavor was just lightly sour, too, with bubblegum and peach wheat. Extra hops were not intensive, only bittered it in a pleasantly herbal way and lasted all the way through the end, where they even dominate. Alcohol was perfectly hidden, one would bet it’s not 7% ABV. A fine German wheat anyway.

Keg at the brew pub, Hacks Markt, 20/07/15. Hazed orange amber with a decent off white covering. Nose is light banana, yeast esters, tangerine, citric pith, bread dough, hoppy trace. Taste comprises orange pith, juicy hop strains, melon, gooseberry, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent hoppy weisse.

Tap (Brauhaus Lemke, Berlin). Piwo delikatnie zmetnione o zlocistej barwie, bialej, bardzo obfitej pianie, bardzo ladnie oblepiajaca szklo. Aromat pszeniczniaka z owocowa nuta w tle, ktora jest na pierwszym planie w smaku. Goryczka wyrazna ziolowo-cytrusowa, ciut zalegajaca i drapie w gardle. Ogolnie niezly mix pszenicy i ipa.

From tap. Pours hazy orange with a small off white head. Estery, toasted and slight fruity. Distinct estery. Bitter, light herbal. Fruity and dry estery finish.

Cloudy dark golden color with a fine thick head. Citric, wheat and banana in the aroma. Medium + body. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Citric, fruity, yeast, banana and wheat in the flavor. Quite decent mix. But it was actually best when it was a bit cold. Did hide some unpleasant alcohol notes.

Sehr trübes goldgelbes Bier mit einer geringen weißen schaumkrone. Geruch sehr hefig, bananig, trocken. Geschmack trocken, Getreide, süß, Honig.
