Bottle shared with the below two jokers at Torst. First i’d like to note that i dig the labeling, especially with the gimmick of increasing birds. Pours golden orange with nice strong apple brandy nose. Tastes of caramel, earth, ginger, yeast, light smoke, and very appley. there is some alcohol warming on finish. quite enjoyable.

Bottle at Torst. Pours amber. Nose and taste of apple brandy, toffee, caramel malt, dried fruit and bready malt. Great balance. Medium body. The barrel aging really imparts a lot of character on the lighter beer, but in a very pleasant way. Great experiment. Looking forward to the rest of the series.
