Bottle. Pours a cloudy very dark brown with a grayish brown head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a great combination grassy hops, light roasted malts and dark grains. Flavor has a great grassy note with a touch of pine and a bit of roasted malts and dark grains.

Bottle shared at tasting at my house. Pours dark brown with tan head. Nose and taste of citrus, burnt toast, toffee, yeast and light spicy malt. Finishes with light alcohol soaked citrus rinds. Medium body.

On tap at the Grain & Gristle, pours a deep dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma of light toasted malts and toasted crusty bread. Flavour of sweet roasted malts and some toasted bread. Nice light roast character with a heavier-than-normal sweetness for the style. Could do with less of it and a higher dry quality. All in all though, decent stuff.
