Bottle to tulip, the appearance was a rustic burnt copper/orange color with a finger’s worth of light foamy white head. Dissipated mildly to leave some light sliding lace.
The aroma had a brush of grapefruit pulp, subtle sting of clove, light leather, white bread and a touch of Belgian yeast.
The flavor leaned towards the sweetness of the prior mentioned aromas to bleed into the aftertaste sweetly. Finish was quick with a light maltiness.
The palate was just a tad under medium bodied with a decent sessionability about it. Mild carbonation and the ABV felt fine.
Overall, decent Belgian ale, maybe give another go if handed.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a murky dark apricot color with an enormous fluffy orange-white head that lingered and left incredible lacing. The aroma was tart, sour and tangy with moderate tropical fruits and lemon. The flavor was dryish with notes of pepper, bread, tropical fruits and lemon. Medium length finish of bread and tropical fruit. Medium body. Solid.

12oz bottle-trade with jtclockwork-thin offwhite-hazy amber floaties in the 2nd 6oz pour. A-some malt, sour fruit. T-sour lemon, old med malt, yeasty but no clove or banana esters.

Bottle. Pours reddish amber with a white head. Nose and taste of Belgian yeast, lemongrass, citrus and dried orange peel. Light malt. Taste is slightly metallic, but drinkable. Body is the lighter side of medium. Finishes slightly dry floral/citrus peel.
