2010 vintage being busted out by jcwattsrugger, thanks for sharing this with the group! Dark brown color without any head obviously. The aroma is burnt caramel, raisin, earthy malt without any noticeable oxidation of the nose.
The flavor on the other hand does show oxidation but not really bad, just a touch of cardboard. The dark fruit tones (sugar covered figs) with English toffee and old butterscotch hints. The body is on the fuller side with the alcohol completely hidden. Very nicely cellared.

Sample at GABF 10/04/2014, thanks to my BIL for assistance with note-taking. Chestnut color with a medium thin light beige head that diminishes steadily. Partial ring of lacing. Aroma of caramel, hops and malt. Full-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, fruit and earthy hops. The finish is boozy with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
