Hmmm... No rating in 3 years for this beer. Clear garnet body with virtually no head. Aroma is acetic, fruit & funk. The flavor has the acetic acid, some fruit but not much else. A shot of vinaigrette in a glass of wine mixed with water. Watery.

22oz bottle pours a clear bronze with some creamy white head. Nose is malt vinegar, bitter greens, a little chocolate, some grapefruit. Flavor is tart and sweet, raspberry vinaigrette, apples, malt, a little pine. Medium bodied, tart finish. Decent.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Oak Tree, 12/2/12
Aroma: The aroma is sour yeast, funk, some fruity notes, and a little caramel
Appearance: It pours a dark orange-brown color with a small beige head and medium lace
Flavor: The taste comes off mostly sour, with sweet notes, overripe fruit, and some yeasty flavors
Palate: The body is medium, it has an average-to-soft carbonation, and a dry, sour finish
Overall Impression: Not too bad at all. I felt like they actually made a pretty solid Flanders. It could use some work to make it more then just decent, but it's on the right track. I've only tried a few things from Climax, but this was by far the most interesting one thus far.

Bottle at my house. Pours brown with tab head. Nose and taste of cheap vinegar, malty grain, spoiled fruit and honeycomb. Light to medium body. Mild grainy acidity.
