"Ah taste and smell the hops!" A hoppy ale that is mildly bitter. Brewed with the finest pale malt available and a touch of flaked barley. Cascade hops are used to make a hop tea that is added directly to the brite tank for a Rock Art twist on an age old favorite. (SUMMER SEASONAL) Now available in 22 oz. bottles!

New England Bucket List Trip Beer #107. Keg at the brewery. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a thin creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of floral, citrus hops and pale malt. The taste is bitter pine, herbal hops and clean pale malt. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness.

Pours a slightly chill hazed medium peach color with a decent sized white head that recedes slowly leaving lots of sticky lace in its wake. Smells of light bready and toffee malt sweetness with grapefruit and lemons hop aromas. The flavor is bready malt with a solid shot of old school ipa citrus. Lots of citric hop bitterness and flavor. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a slick almost tart mouthfeel. Nice citrus forward IPA that reminds me a lot of Harpoon. I could drink this regularly

It poured a brownish gold and maintained a good haziness in the body. There was a lot of carbonation and it took a good three minutes before the head dissipated. Bubbles formed around the head on the sides before the head dissipated. Once it settled a small mushroom cap of a head centered in the beer. The smell was the pine and the hops with some spices in the background. The taste was the hops with the spices in the background. Some bready malts came out in the taste along with a slightly sweet aftertaste. The palate was a light to medium and mainly drinkable, decently balanced. Overall, pretty good for the style, I’d have it again.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 8/30/12

Aroma: The nose is fairly light, with notes of sweet malt, caramel, pine hop, and a little citrus
Appearance: It pours an orange color with a fizzy, quick dissipating off-white head and no lace
Flavor: The flavor has an average sweetness and a light-medium bitterness, with a slightly "off" finish
Palate: The body is fairly light, with a lively carbonation, decent drinkability, and a somewhat dry finish
Overall Impression: This one is what it is, a fairly drinkable, unexciting attempt at an IPA. I felt like it was a small sliver above average, so I gave the overall a bump up to 13.

On tap at Rock art. Half a finger clear head. Dissipated quickly. SRM of 10. Deep golden orange. Smell is big citra profile. Smells of some mild dry hop. Citrus and grassy. Taste is big dry hop profile followed by grapefruit and flowers. Mouthfeel is extremely dry. Light body. Not bad.

12 oz. bottle from Julio’s Liquors. Served at cellar temp. Amber color with lots of floating yeast and particles floating around the glass. Sizable, white fluffy, lasting head. Decent lace. Sweet malt and citrus hop nose. Very straight forward brew. Balanced malt and hops. Has more of a hoppy APA feel to me, rather than IPA. Mild lingering hop finish. But honestly, people have rated this really harsh. It’s not bad, just standard.
