Unser West Coast IPA. Der Backbone Splitter ist ein orange leuchtendes, mit vollem, karamelligen Körper und handwerklich gebrautes, obergäriges Bier mit 6,6 % Alkohol. Sein tropisch-fruchtiges Aroma, erinnernd an Pfirsich, Litschi und Mango, entstammt einer großzügigen Kalthopfung mit erlesenen, überwiegend Amerikanischen Hopfen.

Bottle @ Zapotex, Trier. Pours slightly hazy golden with a small offwhite head. Aroma of malt, light caramel, dfruity hops, light strawberry, light spicy hops, little pine. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, malt, caramel, fruit, citrus, light pine. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet light bitter finish. 100820

Bottle. Deep golden color. Piney, citric grassy aroma with soft herbal notes. Sweetish flavor with herbal hops, citrus, melon. Piney. Low on carbon. Nice one.

330 ml bottle. Unclear amber, big fluffy head. Malty caramel notes, pine, maple, cassis, raspberry, grapefruit, wine gums. Light malty sweetness, dry hoppy bitterness. Full bodied, creamy texture, soft carbonated, dry finish. Great and very well balanced.

Bottle 33cl from Dresden. Orange, hazy with a medium white head. Nice fruits aroma with some floral sense. Medium bitter with a nice hoppy end.
