Unser West Coast IPA. Der Backbone Splitter ist ein orange leuchtendes, mit vollem, karamelligen Körper und handwerklich gebrautes, obergäriges Bier mit 6,6 % Alkohol. Sein tropisch-fruchtiges Aroma, erinnernd an Pfirsich, Litschi und Mango, entstammt einer großzügigen Kalthopfung mit erlesenen, überwiegend Amerikanischen Hopfen.

Bottle@Taphouse Tuesday Bottle Share, Copenhagen - Golden pour with white head. Citrus and tropical fruity medley, notes of mandarin, peach, grapefruit, decent malty back bone, some caramel, bitter finish. Decent.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of citrus fruits, hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of citrus fruits, hops, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy to cloudy orange with a huge white head. Aroma is solid hoppy, pine and slight grapefruity. Solid hoppy, dry and bitter. Smooth fruity finish.

Bottle @ Van Moll Brewpub shared with Erwin Van Moll. Lightly hazy orange to amber color, average sized white head. Aroma is malts and light to moderately hoppy. Taste malts, hops, a hint of resin, nicely bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Nice one!

Tasted @ Noblejas Beerfestival. Orange color with a white head with good retentin. Aroma has resin and pine notes, fruity hints. Flavor with mild bitterness, fruity notes, mainly tangerine and herbal hints. Mild bitterness in the final with good duration.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Alexey’s place. Thanks Vova. Hazy orange. Aroma of malt, stale hops, a honey hint. Sweetish flavor with malt, a honey note, stale hops, bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Not fresh enough.
