Playin' the hits! Our West Coast-style IPA is turned up to 11 with Apollo, Centennial, Chinook, Columbus, and Simcoe hops in the kettle and dry-hopped for a week-long trip with Mosaic. That will leave you with a hop bitterness paired with notes of pine, lemon, and grapefruit that you'll want to write the next great love song to.

Pours copper with white head. Aroma is pine and grapefruit. Very bitter. Very piny. Leaves sustained aftertaste. Not really my style. Too bitter and not easy to drink more than one of these.

Thanks Tim for the can.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a glossed over amber color with a one finger white head. The head faded into oblivion leaving a slight stringy lacing here and there.
The smell had a sweet caramel and light citrus fruit leading into a piney hops mix.
The taste was sweet fruits and a light grapefruit hop flavor.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium with a decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was there with a slight harsh aspect of an AIPA of sorts.
Overall, decent AIPA I could have again.

Sample at Kurtkeller 014: Almanac-tastic 01 on 06/27/2014. This brew is a slightly hazy copper color with a medium white head that evaporates steadily. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, fruit and grainy malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a floral hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Pretty nice with fruity head and some tangerine on top. Pours cloudy amber with good head and lacing. Medium bitterness, comes together well. Good IPA. Tap somewhere on pub crawl.

Slightly hazy copper coloured body with a thin, one centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of peaches, resin, yeast, grass, hay and very noticeable floral hops - nice aroma. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and floral hop notes with some perfume and a little herbal and resinous notes, tucked in with some good malt and a little yeast spiciness. Aftertaste has more of a well-rounded character with the yeast blending well with both the hops and malt and showing a lot of herbs, grass, hay and flowers - moreso than any sweetness or malty flavours. Overall, a nice floral-forward beer with a lot of yeast, spice and hop notes and some good complexity, on the edge of a belgian-inspired IPA. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 06-July-2013 for US$3.59 sampled at home in Washington on 13-September-2013.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 9/2/13

Aroma: The nose is hoppy, some earth hops, bread/toast, slight diactyl, and some mild citrus
Appearance: Pours a clear orange color with a frothy white head and plenty of drippy lace
Flavor: The taste is mildly sweet, with similar components to the nose, and mid-plus bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, it has a soft carbonation, and a long, dry finish on the mouth
Overall Impression: It's always nice to have a Monday off. Happy Labor Day drinking! As for the beer, it has some hops and drinks alright, but it certainly isn't a great IPA. Okay stuff, but I'd say this one is closer to the bottom of the style than the top.

22 ounce bottle. Hazy honey gold color topped by a medium-sized creamy beige head. Tart lemony malt aroma has notes of piney hops and toffee. Upfront, flavor is bittersweet with a toasted malt backbone. Lot’s of bitter complex hop flavor here. Finishes bitter, peppery and intense with a long dry aftertaste.
