This is what beer is all about, a nice little bite at first swallow followed by a blossom of flavors delivered by our hand picked aromatic hops and carried through the end with a full fisted kick of alcohol content that rocks the richtor scale at 6.5%. Yeah, this is what beer is all about!

2013 ’vintage?’ Clear amber coloured body with a thinnish, one centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of funky malt, stale hops, flowers and a bit of spruce. Medium-bodied; Strong malt flavour with earth, metal, stale hops and not much of anything else - perhaps a light sweetness. Aftertaste shows the funky malt, funky hops and touches of caramel with the not pleasant metal and medicinal flavours. Overall, a pretty bad offering, not really worth trying, even for the novelty of the 24 ounce can (culprit). I sampled this 24 ounce can purchased from Merchant’s in Dearborn, Michigan on 02-August-2013 for US$2.99 sampled a day later at home in Woodhaven, Michigan.

12oz can pours copper with gold hues and weak near white head. The mild aroma offers up malts that sweeten up a vague faint citrus hop note as well as honey and a mat liquor pear esteriness. The taste is malty, sugary cherry hard candy mess and vague and sometimes resiny hops. How is this selling? A horrible IPA. Sure glad I didn’t go for a six of this or the big can. I don’t think I’ll try and finish this 12oz-er. Kitchen sink drain, here I come.

Sampled from a 12 oz can this beer poured a bright orange-amber color with a large creamy/soapy yellow-white head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweet yeasty, bready and had a light citric hop presence. The flavor was sweet, tart and tangy with notes of Sweettart candies, lemon, bread dough and pepper. Medium length tart, tangy lemon and pepper finish. Medium body. Ok.

Tallboy from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours light amber with a foamy off-white head. Aroma is pretty much not much at all. Maybe a light hop but ? Med body. Flavor is light caramel with what must be floral hop. It starts sweet, ends kinda bitter, but like most Minhas beers I’ve tried, it’s not wholly pleasant.

On tap at SPSBF. Pours a clear golden amber with a white head that starts and remains at the edges. Aroma has minimal hops with earthy grains and backing hay. Flavor has some earthy grassy hops with a good amount of sweet hay and grains.

Hazy orange with a medium off white head. Hoppy nose with malt and grapefruity notes. Hoppy flavour with pine, grapefruits and malty hints. Kind of a thinnish body. Finished dry and bitter though.
