In celebration of Cincinnati Beer Week, Christian Moerlein and Arnold’s present Moerlein Peaty Pepper Porter, brewed by Moerlein Lager House brewmaster Richard Dube’. "I blended 75/25 of our Peaty Oui-Eve Scottish Ale Wee-Heavy with Embree’s Baltic Porter, brewed at the Lager House and infused it with 3 types of roasted peppers (Anaheim, Serrano, Poblano)," noted Richard. His unique and special offering is described as: A medium-full body Ale, with a hint of peat and dark fruits in the nose. Peppers are definitely recognizable in the aroma, and although relatively mile, the heat (spiciness) from the peppers will linger to balance the sweet caramel notes.
