Muddy tan...looks like shit. Aroma is grapefruit, flowers and diacetyl. Taste is grapefruit and way too much yeast. This stuff is just too green.

Tap @ Downtown pub. Pours dark golden with a little white head. Aroma of caramel, sweet fruit like melon, grapefruit. Taste is sweet caramel, grapefruit, kiwi, melon. Medium body, soft carbonation, sort lasting finish. Drinkable , but not very interesting IIPA, needs mopre hops. 030311

750ml corked and caged bottle purchased to-go from the downtown location - pours a hazy amber, with a thick, well-sustained head - a lot of pine and grapefruit in the nose, with substantial caramel character, some cherry, strawberry - very low carbonation despite the foamy head (almost feels like cask ale in the mouth) - seems on the higher end abv-wise for a "regular" ipa (I’m guessing around 7 or 7.5%) - tastes a little bit aged/oxidized - earth hop character is present, but starting to fade with age - fairly malty, with some orange and mango accenting the sweetness - finishes spicy, with light lingering sweetness - I kinda like this - I wonder what it’s like fresh. (note - I’ve consumed about half the bottle at this point, and judging by the way I feel, this beer might be higher than 7.5)
