Inmundigad på Akkurat. Lagom skumkrona. Gyllenorange färg. Doft av grape och kåda. Omedelbar humlesmak som klingar av medelsnabbt. En bra APA.

Bottle, 12oz at Patricks. A dense, finger-thick off-white head sits on top of a copper coloured, clear body. Cute lacings. The aroma has a pleasant malty backbone, with piney, resiny and grassy hops. A but on the amber ale side, but pleasant anyway. The flavour had some caramel maltiness as a foundation for grassy, piney hops and some bitterness. Full body, soft on the palate. Some bitterness in the finish, would like it to be more, but it’s nice anyway. A pleasant one indeed, but a bit old-style for me. 120830

Bottle @ The Rover. Pours tiny hazy deep golden / amber with a rather small frothy and bubbly offwhite head that quickly dissipates while leaving a small trace on the glass. Smell is sweet with caramel, lemon hard candy, pineapple, mango, orange peal, tropical fruit popsicle, grass and hints of pine and passion fruit. Taste is sweet and bitter with mango, pineapple, passion fruit, caramel, orange peal, grass, pine, caramel, lemon zest, dark bread and tropical fruit lollipop. Mouthfeel is round, slightly sticky sweet, slightly oily bitter and medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and bitter with tropical fruits, caramel, orange peal and grass.

355ml Bottle - Amber with a foamy head. Hops, dried fruit and biscuity malt in the aroma. Really well- balanced taste with notes of grapefruit, toffee, nuts and biscuity malt. You can see how this beer was ahead of its time, but even though it isn’t as hoppy as some American pale ales, its balance is its strength. Really well-made.

Bottle shared at The Rover, Goteberg. Clear amber pour with a white head. Fresh hoppy malty aroma. Same in flavour, well balanced and easily drinkable.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma of malt, hops, dried fruits and caramel. A bit too sweet, but a nice dry and bitter finish. Medium body. Less hoppy than expected.

Bottle at BrewDog Camden. It pours clear deep amber, with a thick beige head. The nose is resin, straw, pine, floral, grass and brown bread. The taste is grass, pine, hay, straw, more grass, citrus pith and grapefruit, with a long bitter-dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A good pale ale, but perhaps a bit too dry.
