Draft at the source. Opaque very dark brown color, beige head. Nice aroma of earthy mokka coffee. Taste is malted milk balls dipped in cocoa. My favorite of a flight

Good sized draft sample at the Granite State Brewfest yesterday. Solid black color, bitter roast hints of earth, decent.

Growler at Paul’s. Pours very dark brown with tan head. Nose and taste of oatmeal, chocolate toast and coconut. Medium/lighter medium body.

on tap-lt brown-black. A-roasty/molasses-oatmeal/dk malt, earthy. T-roasty/chocolate/molasses-oatmeal/dk malt, chicory hops. Nice job by the ‘new’ brewer Ben.

Draft. Thick full, beige head. Retention and lace. Nose is mostly roasted malt, light chocolate. Taste follows with extremely weak notes of coffee and oats. The biggest problem is the ultra-thin body. Dare I say, “watery”. Really lacks body and any real depth. This was a letdown; as I really like all varieties of stouts. Maybe I’ve been drinking to many imperials and bold porters to give this any justice. Adam Jackson liked this a bit more than I.

Dark brown. Amber hues. 2 finger creamy head. Fades to a minimal line of bubbles. Up front smoked malts. Some chocolate. Very malty. Roasted barley and some mocha. Some chocolate. Nutty finish.
