dark orange a little cloudy. smells nice. oats, rice, fruits, yeasty. Herbal taste, sweet finish, grapefruit zest. decent filling mouthfeel and lemongrass finish.

Draft @ BCTC, Ommegang Brewery. August, 8, 2015. Gold color with a slight haze. Aroma shows light spicy yeast, light fruit. Fruit upfront. Subtle yeast character and would not have picked out the rye had I not already known it was there. Texture and body is a nice medium.

Sample at Rattle N Hum. Clear dark golden color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of herbal spices, fruit and wheat. Light to medium body with flavors of slightly funky fruit, spicy rye and wheat. The finish is fruity up front with a rye and malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

Tap at the Ginger Man, NYC, thanks to jt for the pour, 18/05/13. Clear golden with a thin off white head. Nose is soured fruits, straw, light funk, farmy notes. Taste comprises dark soured fruits, sugars, lemon rind, straw, light spice, farmyard. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Ok saison no world beater in its field though!

Draft at Gingerman. Pours clear yellow with white head. Nose and taste of rye, lemon, yeast and spicy malt. Medium body.

Aroma: The nose has some fruitiness, spice, saison yeast, and a bit of grass as well
Appearance: This beer pours a clear golden color without much head or lace to it
Flavor: The taste is nicely balanced between the spice, yeast, doughy malts, sweetness, and grass
Palate: The body is fairly light, with a bright, clean feel, a fizzy carbonation, and a sharp, clean finish
Overall Impression: I thought this was a pretty solid one overall. It is a light, easy to drink beer, that still has plenty of flavor to it. A nice seasonal offering for drinking as the weather starts to warm up (as it finally has this week!)

The Anchored Inn, Brooklyn tap ($6): Pour golden with a small white head. Aroma is farmhouse funk and a bit of fruitiness, with some apparent rye. Taste is slightly funky rye saison. Medium to light body. Not too bad. Easy drinking.

On tap at Top Hops. Pours golden orange with nice sized head. Nose of tropical fruit, yeast, and spice. tastes of yeast, earth, melon, black pepper, and bubblegum. drying on finish a pleasant drinker
