16oz can sampled at 17th BBQ. Nice blueberry blonde - easy sipper, mild but refreshing.

Bottle pour from Friar Tuck, Crestwood. Appearance is clear golden yellow with nice sparkle, finger-width fizzy off-white head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong sweet blueberry and lightly tart raspberry. Taste is strong blueberry with mild tart raspberry, background cracker malts. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with thin, smooth, frothy texture, average carbonation and crisp finish as taste. Overall, pretty much how you'd expect it to be with big blueberry and not much else. Mild tart quality of raspberry adds a bit of extra interest. Avoids going over the edge like an artificial blueberry gum or something.

This beer is a clear copper-gold color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Wheat, blueberry and malt aroma. Medium body with flavors of blueberry, slight hops and grainy malt. The finish is fruity with a berry aftertaste. Average overall.

First impression is a smell of blueberry pancake syrup. Then a generally light fruit beer smell. Golden lager color with a tinge of punk. Taste is OK. Blueberry is not overwhleming, in fact, it looks like juice was added during ferment, so it fermented out and doesn't add too much sweetness. I do warm up to the taste as I go along. Pretty much as good as any of the blueberry fruit beers I've found.

12 ounce bottle. Medium gold color topped by a small fluffy white head. Fruity malt and blueberry nose. Flavor follows nose with tangy, sweet malt notes. Blueberry is subtle, yet lingers throughout. There is a floral hoppy note in the finish, though it is subdued. This could be a nice refreshing Summer brew, but is a bit lacking in late January when tasted.

Bottle. Pours blonde gold with white head. Nose and taste of blueberry, light earth, wheat and touch of grass. Light bodied.

Pour is a large white head with a slight aroma of blueberries. Flavor is again slight blueberry and not much else. They kinda went all in with the blueberry and it kinda shines but not big enough. It does not taste artificial though so I’ll give them that.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 11/24/13
Aroma: Aroma is blueberry syrup, sugar, wheat, and just a hint of hops
Appearance: It pours a clear gold color, small head and minimal lacework
Flavor: The flavor is similar, sweet blueberry and wheat flavor, fairly mild hop bitterness
Palate: The body is light and overly fizzy, with a short, somewhat dull finish
Overall Impression: Not a great beer by any means, but it does an okay job of being what it set out to be. Still, there's a lot more you can with a blueberry beer than this. This isn't trying.

Draft at the big muddy taproom. Blueberry muffins. Medium sweet with blueberrier and wheat but just a hint of grassy hops on the back end. Very good.
