A blonde lager with a thin white head. In aroma, lemon spritzer. In mouth, tastes like mineral water with lemon juice, boring. Can at ROC Empire Brewfest, Feb. 19 2011.

Wow ! A top Canadian brewer that makes a beer only available in the States, so thanks to my band mates for bringing this one up from their trip to NY. Pours a pale yellow colour with a white head that clears quickly and does not leave much behind. Nice fresh lime juice scent. The taste and mouthfeel is pretty watery. Mild lime flavour, but not much for the beer taste. Decent light lime beer, but I still prefer the Miller version (for a summer quencher).

Frosted glass from a bottle: Lime aroma, clean. Clear yellow, thin head. Initally all urinal cake lime and lavender. Much hoped for malt appears at midpalate, but it’s still like sucking on a urinal cake that maybe someone pissed good beer on. Not good. Despite being a macro, I’ve never really hated Labatt, but I don’t like this one.
