Traditional throughout Latin America, the guayabera shirt combines style, functionality, form and tradition in its four-pocketed design. We at Cigar City Brewing feel the same reverence and appreciation for the guayabera that we do for the Citra hop varietal, an ingredient that imparts notes of tangerine, lime and berries to this traditional American Pale Ale. The exclusive use of Citra hops in this beer creates a flavor that’s at once unique and recognizable, while its dry, crisp character and moderate alcohol make it as refreshing and functional as a crisp linen guayabera.

Draught@Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Yellowish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some nectary and mild herbal tones. Flavour is floral, fruity, some nectary and mild wooden tones with some bitterness too. Smooth!

Can: Poured a light hazy pale yellow color ale with a pure white foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of dry citrusy hops notes with light floral hops undertones. Taste is also a mix of floral hops undertones with some citrusy notes and a slight bitter finish. Body is light with good carbonation. Drinkable pale ale with a nice touch of Citra hops.

0,4l on tap @ Barley & Bait. Pours cloudy golden with a medium head. Aroma is fruity malts. Flavor is fruity malts with some hops. Good.

Draft. A hazy dark golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and dried fruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and dried fruit, leading to a bitter finish.

Can from Beer Republic. Hazy ochre, small, foamy, white head. Aroma of ripe orange, tangerine peel, old grapefruit juice, paprika powder, curry, mango, peach. Taste has sweetish peach & tangerine, bitter grapefruit peel over a bready malt body with a spicy (paprika) edge. Floral hoppy finish, notes of old tropical fruits, bitter grapefruit and citrus zest. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Nicely balanced Citra stuff.
