Bottle courtesy of either AirForceHops or BMMillsy. My apologies for forgetting which one of you gave it to me. Chocolate malt, earthy ginger, cardamom, a little molasses, and alcohol aroma. Black brown with a large tan head. Roasty ashy malt, ginger, and cardamom flavor. Body on the light side of medium. It’s a solid beer, but I’m not digging the cardamom.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with brown head. Nose and taste of chai, cinnamon, ginger root, nutmeg, vanilla bean, tea, spice, toasted chocolate and light curry/Indian spice. Medium body.

Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours black with a slight dark tan head. Aroma is lots of cinnamon, ginger and chocolate. Seems full bodied. Flavor is lots of mixed spice (see aroma) and chocolate and ginger. Think there’s a ginger burn building. There are lots of flavors here, and they’re hard to separate. I’m not sure this goes with Indian cuisine (or any other), but it’s a cuisine all to itself. A meal in a bottle. I’m stunned.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Wilbur’s Fort Collins. Pours a deep brown black appearance with a thin dark brown head. Huge minty, ginger, dark chocolate malty aroma, a bit thin. Watery chocolate, cola, light coffee, mega minty, ginger, vanilla flavor. Disappointing.

Pours deep mahogany into a snifter. Mocha head with good retention recedes to coat surface. Sweet cardamom and ginger aromas. Thick with chocolate covered banana and vanilla upfront turning to mild spice before the lasting coffee finish.
