This amazing beer combines the best of all worlds. Five specialty malts and three superior hop varieties have been carefully chosen from the Pacific Northwest, the U.K. and Europe. The malted barleys and hops create a rich, traditional porter. The addition of all natural pure blackberry provides an exciting complexity to this easy sipping wonder. Lean back, relax and savour the flavour!

Dark black pour, off white head. Aroma of well.....black berries!
Flavour is all fruit. Blackberries, grapes and there is a very vinuous quality to the beer. There is zero porter qualities to this beer so im glad it was categorized as a fruit beer.

Dark purple ringed brown with a large khaki coloured head leaving patchy lace. Nose is blackberry, molasses, coffee, light vanilla. Light+ molasses sweetness with a light coffee bitterness and a light berry tartness. Medium creamy mouth with average carbonation. Solid. 8/4/7+/3+l15

It pours very dark brown, almost black, with a nice, thick, long-lasting, moka-colored head. Aroma is blackberry, loads of blackberry (no wonder.) Some chicory and blueberry as well. Supercreamy, medium-fizzy, sweet'n'sour, medium bitter, super long lasting. As Tony the Tiger'd say: "Gr-r-r-reat!!"

Smooth and clean, the fruit is mild but certainly present, the dominant flavour but in perfect proportion. I would like to see the beer a little more silky and full. 750ml bottle from Sobeys.

On tap at Central City Pub. Pours a deep brown amber. With a beige head. Aroma is rosted malt with berries and some chocolate notes. Taste is berry notes, roasted malt and even some cheeze on the background. Burnt malt aftertaste. Very good.

Dark brown color with tons of ribena and roster malt character. Very simple.

Draft - Chocolate and blackberry, just like the chocolates. Jet brown with a light brown head. Just as it smells with a hint of boozy sweetness in the finish. Think those alcohol filled dark chocolate cups. Not my thing, but exactly as advertised.

Draft 10 oz pour at the Red Racer. Pours a purple to tinted black with an active fizz head. Slightly sour grape candy, mixed berry aroma and flavor. Chocolate raspberry candy bar flavor and finish. Jammy. Quite tasty for sure.

Poured from the tap. Near black with beige head. Blackberry compote aroma and flavour with a bit of roast malt and chocolate. A nice blend.
