Traditional throughout Latin America, the guayabera shirt combines style, functionality, form and tradition in its four-pocketed design. We at Cigar City Brewing feel the same reverence and appreciation for the guayabera that we do for the Citra hop varietal, an ingredient that imparts notes of tangerine, lime and berries to this traditional American Pale Ale. The exclusive use of Citra hops in this beer creates a flavor that’s at once unique and recognizable, while its dry, crisp character and moderate alcohol make it as refreshing and functional as a crisp linen guayabera.

Közepes, nagyon tartós hab, félbarna szín, szűretlen. Enyhén savanykás, narancsos, mandarinos, fűszeres illat. Grapefruitos, naramcsos, déligyümölcsös ízek, némi fűszeres beütéssel. Közepesen testes, közepesen szénsavas és keserű. Nagyon finom, gazdag ízvilágú sör

Nice little beer. Citrus and pepper hops, a little herbal. Pretty strong bitterness, with a nice bready malt base.

26/XII/17 - 12Fl. Oz. can from Bierhalle Deconinck (Vichte) @ home - BB: n/a, canned: VIII/15/17 (2017-2237)
Note: can was leaking super slowly inside the box with all my beers, but it was still under pressure. Can't imagine it having been damaged in transport, as it was sitting at the bottom, and the damage was on the bottom of the can as well...
Pretty clear orange beer, big solid creamy beige head, unstable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very fruity, sweet malts, grains, pretty oxidized, honey touch. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very bitter, malty, grains, fruity, caramel malts, pretty oxidized. Aftertaste: fruity, some citrus, pretty malty, grains, grapefruit, some alcohol, hoppy, honey, oxidized.

Sample at the Rhinegeist Rare Beer Fest 10/28/2017. Hazy pale yellow color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of citrus, piney hops and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of citrus, grassy hop and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Above average overall.

Can shared at home. Hazy golden with a bit fluffy off white head. Tangerine, dank hops, caramel malts, sweet dried cranberries, orange peel, light vanilla cake, that cheap tropical mix juice, papaya. It’s over medium malty and fruit juice sweet and under medium bitter. Quite full bodied for the abv with light sugary touch. Quite nice though maybe a bit too old (almost 4 months).
