Bottle. Pours near black with a dark brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet dark grains with a bit of cream and roasted malts as well as a hint of coconut. Flavor has a good amount of coconut with strong roasted malts and dark chocolate.

12 oz bottle given to me by Dansting. The pour is a lightly hazed brown black, with a touch of ruby. There are only a few thin khaki bubbles on the pour, and the cap popped off with very little pressure. The aroma is light char, toasted malt, and a soft vanilla sweetness. The taste is big vanilla cream sweet, toasted coconut and the lightly roasted toasted malt. The palate is light to medium bodied, very low carbonation level, in fact almost flat, and a sweet coconut finish. This may not have been a totally good seal. Cheers for giving me this one Dan.

Bottle. Chocolate, vanilla, coconut, coffee aroma. Black brown with a giant tan head. Dark roasted coffee malt, chocolate, vanilla, and coconut flavor with a spicy bitter finish. Medium body, lively carbonation. Far too carbonated for the style.

12oz bottle brought back from OK by a friend. Poured into a large wine glass. Bottom of bottle has sediment indicating bottle conditioning. The small head fades quickly. The black body allows for visibility of carbonation close to the surface of the glass. Aroma is very mineral and muted at first. As it warms I get something that may resemble coconut but it may just be something else in the cream stout. Flavor is sweet, as it should be for the style. A bit of that mineral character break through as well. The mineral character is mimicked in the mouthfeel. As it goes down the mineral flavor and mouthfeel offset the sweetness, which allows for enjoyment of the sweet character without the downside. Its good stuff, to style, easy drinking but nothing special. Live rating on the phone.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of bu11zeye. Pours a very dark brown with a warm reddish hue with a small off-white head. Interesting aroma, dark dried fruits, hard roast malts and some tobacco. Medium body, dry roastiness, a little sweet dark dried fruit. Finishes dry and slightly roasty. Not much coconut though. Still interesting. 270411
