It might sound like an echo, but it’s not. This collaboration with Stillwater Artisanal explores the true depth of Mango flavor. Three layers of taste and aroma from fruit and hops. Go Mango!
If you’re going to put fruit in a beer, there’s no better fruit to use then mango. At least that’s what Magnus here at Dugges Bryggeri says. So, when there was time for another Dugges x Stillwater Artisanal collaboration, Magnus posed the idea of a mango beer to Brian of Stillwater. Turns out, Brian had the same idea about mango and beer as Magnus. So, we set out to do a mango solo! To make it a sour was a no-brainer. We’ve got nothing but love for our sour collaborations so far, and we wanted to continue exploring that. Said and done, with mango flavor from two types of mango fruit and from mosaic hops we did it. Mango, mango, mango!

Sampled draft @ Beerlovers Bar. Hazy citrus some mango, little white head. Nose is amazing just basically pure mango with some mango peel. Taste is less mango forward, some fizzy lemonade, lower mango, very simple but quite neat, low lactose / yoghurt. Not bad at all.

Bottle at koelies. Slightly hazy deep golden with white head. Massive sweet mango and light lactose sour. Big sweet and moderate sour. 330 mml bottle. Tasted on the 20/09/2017 at home. Hazy pale yellow to orange colour with a medium lasting head. Aroma of tropical fruits, lacto, yoghurt and hay. Taste is intense mango, grass and citrus acid. Aftertaste is intense acidic. Next one please!

Orange, hazy body, with a medium, fluffy, yellowish head.
Aroma with lots of mango, moderate barnyard, honey.
Tastes similar, with less barnyard, but some more salty notes.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes medium sweet, medium salty, moderate sour, very fruity, with mango mainly.
Really nice. Lovely, rich nose, with lots of mango, but also smooth funky notes. Taste is a bit simple, I'm not the biggest mango lover. Overall not very complex stuff maxbe, but refreshing and easy to drink.

Flaska från SB. Smak och doft av humle, mango, citron, passionsfrukt, havssalt, lactos med toner av citrus. Fruktig, frisk, juiceaktig, fin sötma, torr, uppfriskande, med fin beska.

Taste is dry sour-ish fruity, soda powder, citrus acid, fruit stones, sour mango, sorrel, hay, grass. Medium bitterness, dry sour-ish mouthfeel. Could have been pretty nice...

On tap Brewdog Bristol. A slightly hazy pale golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, mango, sour yellow fruits. Taste of sour yellow fruits tropical fruits, mango, quite nice.

330ml bottle. Hazy yellow amber colour, thin white foam head and sweet pineapple & mango aroma. Taste is sour, tangy, juicy, with tropical fruits, mango and alittle biscuit. Light bodied, soft carbonation, tart fruity finish. Nicely drinkable.
