It might sound like an echo, but it’s not. This collaboration with Stillwater Artisanal explores the true depth of Mango flavor. Three layers of taste and aroma from fruit and hops. Go Mango!
If you’re going to put fruit in a beer, there’s no better fruit to use then mango. At least that’s what Magnus here at Dugges Bryggeri says. So, when there was time for another Dugges x Stillwater Artisanal collaboration, Magnus posed the idea of a mango beer to Brian of Stillwater. Turns out, Brian had the same idea about mango and beer as Magnus. So, we set out to do a mango solo! To make it a sour was a no-brainer. We’ve got nothing but love for our sour collaborations so far, and we wanted to continue exploring that. Said and done, with mango flavor from two types of mango fruit and from mosaic hops we did it. Mango, mango, mango!

Aroma is mangos mixed with a little bit of sulfur and sour. Flavor is like nose tartness dominates add in a bit of armpit sweat and a very nice mango finish. Refreshing and good for sipping.

Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a peachy tint, initially a medium sized white head that quickly disappeared to a film. A sweet fruity tropical aroma, mango in the main, a little peach. A sour dry tart taste, with a fruity mango flavour. A little thin but overall a nice beer.

Flaska från SB. Tropiskjuicegul med lågt försvinnande skum. Fruktig, sötsyrlig fruktläskdoft med passionsfrukt/mango, smaken är också åt det hållet men så klart lite vuxnare. Laktosötma och syrlighet och fruktjuice dominerar. Trevlig sommardryck.

Vom Fass bei der TapTakeoverParty von Dugges im Muted Horn Berlin 2017-06 getrunken. Die Nase ist super toll und der Name ist hier klar Programm, aber es hätte statt ein Ale auch ein Limonade sein können. Süffig und stellt gar keine Herausforderungen an den Biertrinken. Langweilig. Die gleiche Benotung gilt leider auch für das Dugges - Tropic Thunder.

Draft at Murphy’s Law. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of massive mango, peach and lychee. Flavour is light moderate sweet and sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

The mango stuff did really blend very well together with the sour/acidic notes. Lovely refreshing and tasty ale.
Hazy straw golden color with a fine white head. Good lacing. Looks nice. Pleasant nice aroma with a fine intensity. Decent body and a fine carbonation level. Good balance between sweetness and acidity. Dry ending and a lasting flavor. Mango, pale malt, mild lactic and citric flavor.

Bottle from Systembolaget Unclear dark yellow with a quick diminishing white head. Aroma of dried mango, hay and very light sweat. Taste is tart with - you guessed it - mango, with some papaya, yeast, hay and yoghurt. Highly refreshing but not very complex.

Bottle at home. Hazy golden pour with a thin white head. Tons of mango in the aroma, light lime, light bubble gum and melon. The taste notes further include salt, tropical fruit, passion fruit, papaya, light grains, Fanta. Light body, medium to high carbonation and a tart and lightly hop bitter finish.
