So rabid are we about roundball that in 1925 Mr. Naismith himself declared Indiana the center of the sport. Needing only five starters, the game was tailor made for the towns that dot Indiana and just one or two great players could take any school to the state finals – and immortality.

Pours a hazy orange color with a medium thick off-white head that recedes gradually to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of fruit, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of citrus, earthy hops and caramel malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short hoppy aftertaste. Average overall.

Pour is a hazy orange with a large white head. Aroma is equal parts citrus hop and sweet caramel malt. Flavor is mostly malty. Large caramel malt presence but way low on hop bitterness. Hops can be barley detected after some swallows. This was not a real high octane IPA. way to much malt presence and where are the hops?

Bottle - Orange and a bit of acetone. Cloudy orange with a decent white head. Sweet and cardboard with a light dry bitter finish. May be an old bottle.

Bottle. Pours a very slightly hazy orange with a thin head and pleasant aromas. Citrus and pine with a touch of mango. Things are looking good and then I take a sip. I’m hit by a brash bitterness that lacks any sort of flavor and a grainy and dusty malt presence that is not that great. Darn the nose had me expecting goodness.

tap at Ft Wayne Oktobeerfest 2013 - Pours hazy copper with a lingering off-white head. It features good, crisp bitterness and a little citrus character. It’s an average IPA, so to me that makes it good.

bottle. Very solid IPA - tons of hops with great balance. Meets my requirements of a good IPA. Very excited to try their Imperial IPA, the Full Court. Of the 2 I’ve tried, impressed with this company

Bottle. Caramel, biscuity malt, and piney orange hops aroma. Deep honey gold with a small off-white head. Herbal piney hops, grapefruit peel flavor. Could use some malt balance. Medium body, soft carbonation.

Bottle. Sour lemon malt and light citrus peel aroma. Hazy golden yellow color with small head. Mildly sweet-tart lemon malt and lightly bitter orange peel flavor. Not a bad beer - just not a typical IPA.

Bomber. Cloudy, deep golden body with orange highlights. Frothy white head, fully lasting. The aroma is citrus with notes of tangerine and grapefruit. Hints of toasted grain and leafy hops. The flavor is lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Also, it displays some vinegary notes in the finish, as if it came off an unclean tap line. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Lots of citrus with muted bitterness — and that acidity in the finish that just doesn’t belong there. Not as refined nor as clean as better IPAs.
