Traditionally craft brewed in Oxfordshire using organically grown English Barley Malt and Organic Target Hops.
Scarecrow is a wonderfully refreshing Golden Ale evoking lazy, hazy days of summer in golden meadows & ripe barleyfields. A winning combination of tart citric fruit flavours perfectly balanced by a rich biscuity maltiness and rounded off with a spicy bittersweet finish.

500ml bottle. Pours a clear golden with a medium, creamy, short lived, off-white head that laces. Floral hop aroma with caramel malt, bread, grass and light citrus. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, biscuit, citrus and grass with a dry, mildly bitter, hoppy finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation.

Bottle at home. Clear golden with white head. Sweet malts, recycled paper, light lemonpeel, sugar, dustiness. Light sweet and moderate bitter, with faint acidic finishing note. Under medium body with light carbonation. Stale, steely, light tart finish with some sugarwater notes. Muted (dusty) feeling on the tongue. --- Beer merged from original tick of Scarecrow Organic on 21 Nov 2017 at 17:14 - Score: 5. Original review text: 2.6
