Pours yellow gold from the bottle. Thin white frothy head. Aroma is caramel, grains. Taste is sweet up front. A mild, grainy bittersweet arises at the finish. A bit rough and uneven. Body is light to medium. Not much on its own but does well with food. Finished the second half of the glass with smoked Schinken, which it complemented very nicely.

Bottle. Amber body, white head, low retention. Metallic notes in the aroma, light maltiness... Taste... Metallic, stale dull fruity touches. Messy, just not enjoyable. Ew.

Bottle from Booths, Clitheroe. Golden with a thin head. Has a dry but understated pale ale texture. There’s some hops in nose, a hint of fruit in its taste, but it’s all understated once again.

500ml bottle from Ken Warne, Darlington. Golden colour, white foam head leaving lacing and grain, citrus in the aroma. Taste is malty & grainy, with some biscuit, and fruity citric & grassy metallic hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Quite OK.
