Sample at Kurtkeller 019: Choco-tastic 02 on 12/27/2014. This beer pours a clear brownish-amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt, chocolate and green peas. Medium-bodied with flavors of earthy malt, cocoa and more green pea. The finish is sweet with a chocolatey and slightly vegetal aftertaste. Would be better minus the off flavor, decent overall.

Sampled from the tap at the Bridge. Pours a near clear amber with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy chocolate with some dark grains with a hint of light roast. Flavor is a bit thin with roasted malts with a slight chocolate bite.

On tap @ the Bridge with Homer321, jcnielsen, and brokensail. Pours a hazy dark reddish orange appearance with a tan head. Twangy, red fruity, cinnamon nose. Slightly tart flavor which does show the chocolate but the beer just tastes fucken weird and fruity.

Location: Draft at Ginger Man, 4/12/13

Aroma: The nose, as anyone would guess, it full of chocolate, and it has some roasted hints too
Appearance: This beer pours an amber-brown color with a beige head and some light lace
Flavor: Tastes extremely sweet, the chocolate sweetness dominates, the roast is minimal
Palate: This one has a smooth creamy feel to, and it doesn't really have a beer-like mouthfeel
Overall Impression: This is pretty much a chocolate drink masquerading as a beer. It's interesting, and I think it would make for a nice dessert drink, but it is way too sweet for me to drink more than a couple ounces of or drink regularly.
