We have brewed on this beer in a long time and we finally think it is a should. A very majestic stout with a hint of roasted barley malt, smoke malt, coffee, some spices and to top it all a drop a of rum. The beer has been seasoned on oak wood. This beer can stored many years in a dark closet or cellar, but is also ready to drink when it leaves our brewery. Buy an extra bottle and stash it for a special occasion in some years. It will develop like a god wine- only get better and better by the years.

fat biskopen Malmö . Fantastiskt fyllig krämig in texturer and smakar krämigt (igen!) av choklad å lite kaffe. Lagom söt. Jävligt bra öl.

Keg at Hoppy Loft, 8th September 14. Some chocolate some vanilla, the rum is there, but not so well integrated into the beer, it’s added, not barrel aged and it shows. Still OK impy

Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with stable tan head. Clear aroma of malt, coffee, a touch of liquorice and, above all, alcohol. Bitter and roasty flavour, with touches of dark chocolate, rum and coffee. Sweetish notes, especially towards the rather roasty finish. A nice one.

Tap@Taphouse CPH - pours dark brown verging black with a small tan head. Roasted malts, roasted coffee, chocolate, caramel, brown sugar, wooden nuances, and boozy rum on the palate. Lovely drop.

Keg at Craft Beer Co, Islington. Pours jet black with thin tan head. Big rum aromas, boozy and brown sugar. Taste has alcohol burn, some light roast, but not much. All about the rum. Quite thin texture. Ok.
