Bottle from Krampus shared at John’s house. Pours clear yellow with white head. Nose/taste of lemon, metallic grain, burnt hay and burnt toast. Lighter medium body. Not very good.

bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear, darker yellow with minimal head. Aroma of corn and grains with a hint of dank herbal hops. Taste is light bitter. Herbal with grains. Light bodied with a thin texture. Lively carbonation and a very abrupt finish. Overall, meh. Drinkable but nothing to seek out.

12oz bottle. Hazy yellow-tan body, thin oily head. Some buttery graininess in the aroma and taste. A pretty shabby example of a true Kolsch, not so intolerable for a US Blonde. A beer I will never revisit intentionally.

Pours a light gold with big white head. Some hop aroma, but mainly malt. Flavor is rather bitter, with a bitter, almost metallic, finish to it.

Tap @ Town Hall Tap Minneapolis. Pours a clear, golden appearance with a white head. Clean, crisp, grassy, herbal, slightly floral aroma. Really a crisp, grassy, straw, grainy flavor with a fair amount of character and while it’s nothing special, it was easy to drink.

Winterfest 2012. Some bread in the aroma. Clear gold color. Dry flavor with lager yeast. Not bad.
