Purchased at the Fresh Farms grocery store in Niles, IL; enjoyed while playing Cards Against Humanity with a group of friends. Overall, when I first bought this, I thought that it would be a good \"gag\" beer to enjoy consuming. Then, it came time to pop open the bottle and I was deeply regretting my decision. However, this stuff wasn’t too bad! I can’t describe what the taste is really like, but the best statement would be \"not as bad as you’d think\". I think I paid $4 for this bottle that nicely buzzed myself and my buddy, therefore, not a bad buy, but probably wouldn’t get this again.

Damn, was excited to get back to north American beer and this is the first thing I have. I should have thought twice about buying an indian beer called super beer, but the old monk moniker combined with the percentage threw me off. Gross chemical aftertaste. This has to be near malt liquor. Although Indian monks may be some of the oldest, they don’t hold a dime to their Belgian counterparts. Try another 10,000 years Vishnu.

Bottle thanks to someone. Pours with a very lightly hazed yellow body with a quick to fade white head. Aroma of bad tequila, metal, oil (motor), and slightly spicy. Flavor of wheat, metal shavings (what it smells like after welding), urine and sweat. Thin. Bad. Didn’t notice the alcohol among all the other horrible flavors.

Tried this at an Indian restaurant. Pours a light coppery color with not too much head. The beer doesn’t smell too great. Taste is really malty and boozy. Kind of tastes like an ash tray, but not as bad as Four O or 211. Lots of booze and drinkable enough.

22oz bottle-pours a white head and yellow/gold color. Aroma is grain/cereal, grape, musty. Taste is grain/cereal, medicinal/vinegar, grape-fruit, alcohol, perfumy. Helps me appreciate most of the lesser beers I had in China. Thanks jwc215 for picking this out.

Noogfest White head over a clear medium yellow body. Cheap corn aroma and typical cheap beer taste. Next.

Aroma of light malt, hint of caramel. Brassy gold color with a white head that left quickly. Near medium body with fizzy carbonation that has a bite. The flavor is sort of caramel malt, in a light way. No particular hop until a little at the finish. The alcohol is noticeable; burns the tongue. I’d say this is indeed a malt liquor, and better than many produced by the American macro brewers.

Bomber; nose of grain, with sweetness, some spices and a vanilla note; gold with a small white head; flavor has spiciness, bready grain, and a smoky note, with a little of the alcohol showing in the finish.
