The concept was to create a juicy tropical beer. A brew you can sit on and drink all day, rammed with juicy malts and huge tropical aromas of mango and grapefruit. Massive additions of whole leaf American hops are added in ever increasing numbers at the end of the boil giving huge hop flavour. The beer is then dry hopped for days, driving the punchy aromas so you can smell it from miles away!

Dark golden to light orange, slight hazyness. Huge fluffy head, shows good persistence and nice lacing. Aroma shows tropical fruits (mango, grapefruit) and a light grassy hint among a crackery malts base. Clean but not too intense. Taste has a light crackery foundation, citric and tropical fruit notes as per aroma, though not particularly bright, and a grassy finish. Medium sweet and medium to low bitter, with a balanced finish. Overall surely on the sweet side for the style. As mentioned, not too bright. Light to medium bodied, average carbonation. Flawless and easily drinkable, but definitely uninteresting and also not too vivid, despite having being canned on 27/2.

Strong fruity nose. Cloudy pale amber colour, huge creamy off-white head, good retention, heavy lacing. Aroma pale malts, lemon, grapefruit, pine, grass. Mild and smooth taste, medium sweet and bitter, malty, lime, pomelo, tangerine, tropical fruits. Sweetbitter finish, fruity, light spicy notes, medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Good mild APA, easy to drink, good.

Pours clear dark golden with a lasting, small, foamy, white head. Fresh aroma of grapefruit, grass, wheat, yeast, mango, pine, pineapple, some peach. It tastes light fruity sweet and light to medium hoppy bitter; more fruity & wheaty touches in the dry, hoppy, bitter finish. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Very drinkable, great balance.
