The concept was to create a juicy tropical beer. A brew you can sit on and drink all day, rammed with juicy malts and huge tropical aromas of mango and grapefruit. Massive additions of whole leaf American hops are added in ever increasing numbers at the end of the boil giving huge hop flavour. The beer is then dry hopped for days, driving the punchy aromas so you can smell it from miles away!

Tap at Fakin. Murky amber, white head. Citric and soft maltiness. Mild citric taste, light, soft maltiness, great body, but I expected a stronger taste. Hm. Solid, drinkable beer.

On tap at Fakin Craft Bar, Zagreb. Shared with lovely Anja and Marko. Murky golden to orange, small off-white head. Lightly hoppy, aroma is fruity, light citrus, light spices, leaves, hints of tropical 🍹. Biscuit malts underneath. On the sweet side, but good balance. Light to medium body, soft carbonation, light aromatic finish.

Golden blond colour with lacy head. Aroma and flavour have some light citrusy hops. This is a classic session beer to be consumed in big quantities.

Rerate: 10/05/24, The Jolly Farer, Lewisham. Ta. Aroma is vaguely tinned fruitand grains. Light-medium bitter. Some hops. Some malts. Some carpet. Didn't read my prior review but this is doi g seeet FA for me now. Can at Fego, Cobham. Served in a frozen glass which hinders things... Floral tropical fruit aroma. Medium amber. Thick fluffy white head. Way too cold. Medium bitter. Citrus bite. Crisp.Ligjt bodied. Slick. Fizzy carb. Abrupt slightly astringent finish. Decent enough but done a disservice by the frozen glass - it's not horrible pale lager.
