100ml (ordered after NY girls convinced the bartender to do half pours, hehe) shared with Ryan sitting at the bar and talking to the Mikkeller employees. Appearance: hazy golden with a white head. Aroma: caramel, some phenols and sweetness. Taste: along the same lines, very sweet and boozy, phenolic 🍎 detected. Overall: boozy mess 😬

Draught. Golden colour with a mediumsized longlasting head, not much lace, but a little. Aroma is sweet malts, some honey, mild alcohol, some spiciness a bit glue and some metallic tones. Flavour is alcohol, grass, honey, some sweet malts, ripe fruits and some spiciness. Alcohol is everywhere, in a bad way.

Bottle at Craig's. Pours clear pale golden, nose is caramel, pine, lemon, vanilla, taste is stewed fruit, marzipan, zesty lemon, caramel, fairly boozy.

Bottle at Craig's. 15%. Pours clear pale yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of dank hop and booze. Floral, estery, lemon rind. Boxy finish.

Aus der Flasche (Vintage 2021) im 2021-10 getrunken. Dieses orange-goldene, leicht trübe Bier hat ein helles Kernfrucht- und Hefe-Aroma. Am Gaumen hat es eine kräftige alkoholische Süße, ein schönes Marillen-Aroma und nach hinten kommt eine Hopfennote durch. Ein echtes Schwergewicht und erinnert anfangs wenn es kalt ist wirklich mehr an ein Abbey Triple als ein Barley Wine. Mit mehr Wärme kommt dann der Hopfen deutlicher durch wird aber immer noch von der Süße stark unter Kontrolle gehalten. Ok dann ist ein süßes American Barley Wine! Der deutliche Alkoholgehalt wirkt echt gefährlich, aber lecker!

Flarra stor ölprivning wilhemshill sista badet i år. Doftar åhhh diverse Syntetisk godis. I munnen TUTTIFRUTTIS utav helvete och ca 23 gram hallonbåtar . Perfekt kolsyrad . Bara små mjuka bubblor . Som Johan säger här bredvid ”Det hära var en kukit god öl” ja jag säger nog detta är en mycket välgjord barely wine.

375ml bottle. Cloudy, amber colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, fruity, malty aroma, notes of dried fruit, honey, praline, dried fig, dried date. Taste is sugary sweet and alcoholic, notes of honey, praline, dried fruit, booze, meringue. Very well crafted, somehow unintrusive, almost mild and gentle, but simply heavy in a furtive way - not like a hammer stroke, instantaneous, more like dizzying, inducing cerebral softening, submerging. This is not an innocuous sipper - It's a knockout beer.
