Bottle. Black pour, small white head. Aroma of roasted malt and sweet fruit. Taste is quite sweet, with café latte, cacao and some raisin. More like a belgian sweet stout. Short finish, bit thin. Decent beer.

300ml bottle. Hazy, dark brown colour with late awakening, average to huge, thick, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, decently lacing, beige to tan head. Minimally fruity, dark malty aroma of low intensity has hints of plum and cocoa, massive alcohol in the air. Taste is minimally fruity dark malty, minimally yeasty, a touch of cocoa, plum, a dry touch dark berries’ parings. There’s just a breeze of this promised Barley Wine - Belgian Dark - Stout - mixture; remains somehow inhibited, barred, encapsulated - inactivated potential, subsurface power.
