12oz bottle pours an oily, translucent black with some lacing, eggshell head. Nose is interesting, some toasted wood, some juniper, a little witch hazel, some mild spice, a little cream soda, licorice, some spearmint. Flavor follows, very minty, tarragon, ,birch beer, licorice, herbs, candlewax. I swear to God there’s a heavy witch hazel thing happening. One of the stranger drinking experiences I’ve had in a while... but it wasn’t bad.

Bottle shared by BuckeyeBoy and his posse clear redish brown with a tan ring. Nice aromas of light brown sugar and oak with a touch of booze. Coleen fun body and a little holiday spice. Dusty musty finish.

Bottle. Pours amber. Nose and taste of brandy, oak, dark fruit, nutmeg, christmas spices and caramel - medium body.

Extra in a trade, vintage 2013 Murky fig juice, almost totally black in the glass. Very little head was formed. Truthfully, this smells like a peppery nutmeg dish-soap. Taste is pretty rough. Has an eggnog viscosity including eggnog like flavors of cinnamon, nutmeg, clove and yes, brandy. Sweet at the start, malty finish. Couldn’t drink more than a bottle.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy brown with small beige head. The aroma is strong brandy, oak, and roast. Thin mouthfeel with nice roast, light sweet brandy, oak and spicy finish. Very good.

Bottle thanks to Kyle! Pours a clear dark brown with an amber hue with a grayish brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has musty dark grains with a hint of brandy and sweet chocolate underlying. Flavor has a nice brandy and dark grain note that is backed by light spice and sweet chocolate.
